This policy explains what information NASHA ("we", "us") collects when you visit nasha2027.com (the "Site") or buy a ticket for NASHA (the "Event"), why we collect it, and what we do with it.
The short version:
- We collect only what we need to sell you a ticket, get you in the door, and understand how people find the Event.
- We built our own analytics and our own survey. There are no advertising trackers, no tracking pixels, and no third-party analytics on the Site.
- We never sell your information and never share it for advertising.
- Your card details go straight to our payment processor, Stripe. We never see or store them.

1. What we collect
When you buy a ticket
- Your name and email address, so we can send your ticket and contact you about the Event.
- Your order details: ticket type, quantity, price, date and time of purchase, and an order number.
- Basic payment information returned by Stripe: payment status, card brand (for example Visa), the last four digits of the card, and the country of the card. We do not receive or store your full card number, expiry date, or security code.
When you use the Site
Our own analytics system records:
- Which pages you view and the steps you take toward buying a ticket (for example, opened checkout, completed purchase).
- The promo link or code that brought you to the Site, if any.
- Your device type, operating system and browser, worked out from the information your browser sends.
- Your approximate location at the city and region level, worked out from your IP address by our hosting provider at the moment of your visit. We do not store your IP address.
- A random visit ID kept in your browser, so we can tell one visit's steps apart from another's. It is not linked to your identity unless you buy a ticket during that visit.
When you take the optional survey
- Your answers, which may include your gender, age range, school or affiliation, and how you heard about the Event.
- Survey answers are linked to your order so we can run the prize draw and avoid duplicate entries.
- Every survey question is optional, and skipping the survey has no effect on your ticket.
When you enter the prize draw without buying
- Your name, email address, and anything else the Official Rules ask for.
When you contact us
- Your message and email address.
At the door
- The time your ticket was scanned, so each QR code can only be used once.
2. How we use it
- To process your order, send your ticket and receipt, and admit you to the Event.
- To contact you about the Event, including changes, cancellations, and refunds.
- To prevent fraud, duplicate entry, and chargeback abuse.
- To run the prize draw under its Official Rules.
- To understand, in aggregate, who comes to our events and how they hear about them (for example, which promo links work and what share of buyers are on iPhone), so we can plan better events.
- To meet our legal, tax, and accounting obligations.
We will email you about future NASHA events only if you tick the box to opt in. Every such email has an unsubscribe link.
3. Who we share it with
We share information only with the service providers we need to run the Site and the Event. They act on our behalf and may use your information only for that purpose:
| Provider | What they do | What they receive |
|---|---|---|
| Stripe, Inc. | Payment processing | Payment details you enter at checkout, your email, and order amount |
| Cloudflare, Inc. | Hosting, security, and our database | All Site traffic and the data we store |
| Resend, Inc. | Sending ticket and order emails | Your name, email address, and the content of the email |
We may also share information:
- With the Venue, only to the extent needed for entry and safety (for example, the guest count, or a name if there is a safety incident).
- If required by law, a court order, or to protect the safety of any person.
- With a successor if NASHA or its events are transferred to another operator, under the same promises made in this policy.
We do not sell personal information, and we do not share it with advertisers or data brokers.
4. Cookies and browser storage
We do not use advertising or cross-site tracking cookies. The Site stores a small amount of data in your browser, the random visit ID described above and your checkout progress, so the Site works and our analytics can count steps. Stripe may set its own cookies on the checkout form to prevent fraud. You can clear browser storage at any time in your browser settings.
5. How long we keep it
- Orders and payment records: kept as long as required for tax and accounting records, generally 4 years.
- Survey answers: kept linked to your order until the prize draw is complete and winners are confirmed. After that, the link to your name and email is removed, and only anonymous answers are kept.
- Analytics events: kept for 12 months, then deleted or reduced to anonymous totals.
- Door scan records: deleted 90 days after the Event.
- Emails you send us: kept as long as needed to answer you.
6. Your choices and rights
You can email help@nasha2027.com at any time to:
- Get a copy of the personal information we hold about you.
- Correct it.
- Delete it, except for records we must keep for tax, accounting or fraud-prevention reasons.
- Withdraw from marketing emails.
We will respond within 30 days. We may ask you to confirm the request from the email address used for your order.
7. Security
We use HTTPS throughout the Site, limit access to personal information to the people running the Event, and never store card details. No system is perfectly secure. If a breach affects your personal information, we will notify you as required by Wisconsin law.
8. Age
The Site and the Event are for people aged 18 and older. We do not knowingly collect information from anyone under 13. If you believe a child has given us information, email us and we will delete it.
9. Changes
If we change this policy, we will post the new version on the Site with a new "Last updated" date. If the change is significant, we will email ticket holders.
